Schindler Update 2014_12_15

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Greetings from Taipei! It’s hard to believe this is our final update of 2014! When we reflect on this past year, it goes without saying that we are overwhelmed with God’s goodness to us in so many ways. We have experienced His blessings in our ministry, in our family, and in relationships with others. As the year comes to a close, let us once again express our thanks to you for your faithful prayers, support, interest, and love showered on us.

Prayer and Praise

  • Thanksgiving Community Service: Our house church network held a combined lunch and church service at a local coffee shop on Sunday, November 23rd. We had 25 people in attendance, including 10 non-Christians. Since then, 3 of these non-Christian friends have joined various house church gatherings. Please pray we’ll continue to see fruit for the Kingdom!

Christmas Outreach: This coming Sunday, the 21st, we have a Christmas brunch planned at the home of co-workers, with the purpose of reaching out to our non-Christian friends. Please pray for new friends to join, and for all to grow in their understanding of Jesus and what His birth means for all people!

Baby: 9 days until due date, so baby #2 can come anytime! Please pray for a smooth delivery and good heath for both Kelley and the baby.

Joy to the world! The Lord is come!

For the Glory of God,
Erich and Kelley Schindler

This group of dear friends hosted a baby shower for our baby #2, who should arrive any day now 🙂

This dish is called “hot pot,” and Taiwanese people especially enjoy it during the winter months. It’s delicious and warming!
